The Master got out of his chair and started walking around, seemingly at random. He picked up discs, leaflets and book, just to put them on another pile. After throwing some wood on the fire, after checking the door, he sat down again.

Laura didn't hesitate for a moment.

BOOT VOL ILLEGALEN OP WEG NAAR NEDERLAND ONDERSCHEPT DOOR FRANSE MARINE

NANTES/AMSTERDAM – De Franse kustwacht heeft dinsdagmiddag een boot onderschept met honderden illegalen aan boord. Naar verluidt was de boot, die vaart onder de Spaanse vlag, op weg naar Nederland. De gezagvoerder van het schip, een oude, ietwat verwarde man, is in hechtenis genomen. Hij wordt verdacht van mensenhandel, slavernij en het smokkelen van verboden, veelal goedkope namaakgoederen en een witte schimmel. Het schip, een feestelijk versierde stoomboot, ligt geankerd in de haven van Nantes en trekt veel bekijks van de lokale bewoners. De illegalen zijn ondergebracht in een tentenkamp even buiten de stad.
De boot werd opgemerkt door een groep Franse vissers in de Golf van Biskaje, die vervolgens de Franse kustwacht alarmeerde. Het was het met vlaggetjes versierde schip en het luidkeels gezang van de bemanning dat de aandacht trok van de vissers. In eerste instantie dacht Guillaume du Pain, kapitein en krabbenvisser uit Lyon, dat het ging om een boot vol feestvierende Somalische piraten. De Franse kustwacht rukte dan ook uit met grof geschut, maar al snel bleek dat de illegalen niet erg gevaarlijk waren. Wel stonden veel van hen strak van het suikergoed en bekogelden ze de Franse dienders met kleine ronde en vooral harde koekjes.

De Nederlandse autoriteiten hebben opgelucht gereageerd op het nieuws van de arrestatie van de vermeende slavenhandelaar. Volgens Rob van Lint, directeur van de Immigratie- en Naturalisatiedienst (IND) hebben de Fransen ferm en adequaat gehandeld. “De Fransen kunnen trots zijn. Met de arrestatie van deze man is iedereen een hoop ellende bespaard. Stel je voor dat al deze illegalen ons land waren binnengetreden. De gevolgen waren catastrofaal geweest. Wat moeten onze kinderen wel niet denken als zij deze verwilderde mannen op straat zouden zien lopen? Je wordt er eng van.” Ook staatssecretaris Teeven (Veiligheid en Justitie) is blij met de arrestatie. ”Frankrijk en Nederland geven een duidelijk signaal af. Deze mensen zijn niet welkom. Ze zijn illegaal en daarmee is de speculaaskoek op.”

Het is nog onduidelijk wat het lot is van de illegale bemanning van het schip. Mogelijk worden alle 326 mannen teruggestuurd naar Spanje waar zij asiel kunnen aanvragen. Een andere optie is dat de Fransen en de Nederlanders, op aandringen van de Verenigde Naties, de mannen inzetten bij een toekomstige anti-piraterij missie in Mali. De gearresteerde gezagvoerder, wiens naam anoniem blijft, staat begin december terecht. Bij een veroordeling hangt de man een gevangenisstraf van enkele honderden jaren boven het hoofd.

Een van de eerste sciencc-fiction boeken, die ik las, beschreef de “ontvoering” van een aantal middelbare scholieren, door buitenaardse wezens, die hun thuisbasis op Mars hadden. Ze worden daar welwillend ontvangen, maar na verloop van tijd krijgen ze toch het idee in een gevangenis te zitten. Dit komt vooral door hun “blog”, dit is een zwevende bol, die ze vragen kunnen stellen en opdrachten geven. Ze krijgen in de gaten, dat dit apparaat hen in de gaten houdt. Kort en goed, ze krijgen de zwevende bewaker plat, door hem te overvoeren met informatie. De blog implodeert en de jongens kunnen op onderzoek uit.

Vandaar mijn suggestie. Surf, blog, twitter en communiceer, dat het een liever lust is. Laat horen waar je het wel of niet mee eens bent. Laat merken, hoe je de toekomst ziet en aan de weg timmert.

Niet alleen worden de NSA en alle andere gluurders en afluisteraars dan helemaal gek. Ze krijgen ook nog eens te hren, hoe we over de wereld denken waar zij voor staan.

Hinduism knows of Krishna, periodically returning to safe the day, many christians believe that the return of Jesus Christ is imminent, Buddhists are expecting a World Teacher, called Maitreya,

who will guide us to a world of love and sharing. In Islam, believers await the coming of the “Iman Mahdi”, who will bring peace and justice all over the world, the traditional, pure, Islamic believe, as proclaimed by Mohammed (pbuh), the prophet and last but not least, the Jews: the are still waiting for their Messiah to come. Jesus was fake, a sorcerer.

So all around the world, people, religions and organisations are waiting and praying for some-one to solve our problems. I think, that is the easy way out.

The Islamic hadifs speak explicitely of this 12^th Iman. His name will be Mohammed and his fathers name “Abdullah”. He has his roots in the Korresh-tribe, the tribe of the prophet. He will have a large forehead and a prominent nose. He will come from the East (Chorasam, greater Afghanistan) with an army under a black flag.

On 29 november 1979 shots were fired in Mecca. After prayer armed man took over the microphone. At that moment tens of thousands of Muslims were held hostage in their most sacred place. In the end, after eight days, the army stormed the place. About fivehundred people lost their lives, including the Iman Mahdji. The 69 survivors were executed the same day.

How did they get all the guns inside. That was quite easy. Diseased believers are also brought inside, as part of a burial ceremony. Security didn't check them. In recent times, you have to show a death-certificate.

The seizure was led by Juhayman al-Otaybi, who belonged to a powerful family of Najd. He declared his brother-in-law Mohammed Abdullah al-Qahtani to be the Mahdi, or redeemer. His followers took that the fact that Al-Qahtani's name and his father's name are identical to Muhammad's name and that of his father, and the saying ("His and his father's names were the same as Muhammad's and his father's, and he had come to Mecca from the north") to justify their belief. Why, otherwise he would have won. The divided “umma” is still waiting.
